That question is written on the top of my website, but you will notice that it isn’t answered. I leave it there as a question, a reminder that I have no idea.

It is a very good question. Across time and across geography and cultures, in one form or another, a lot of people believe in ghosts, a spirit world, connecting with ancestors. Use whichever words you like, the theme is the same. A connection with things, voices, experiences, sensations that we cannot rationally explain, and the whole lot can be categorised as what we call ghosts. Some people just believe because they want to, or maybe they have been convinced by somebody who has influenced them. Some people have had what they might reluctantly call an experience, and against their better judgement, cannot dismiss everything as common sense tells them they should do, because of that experience.
That’s me. I am one of those people. The whole idea of what we traditionally think of as ghosts, the spirit world, all that sort of stuff, is obviously utter nonsense, or is it? There are people who turn it into nonsense, that is undeniable, but is there justification to throw everything in the bin because of that?
So, I suppose the big question is, do I believe in ghosts?
I’m not going to tell you. I think life is more interesting when we don’t know everything.
